What secret friend left this by my front door? It appeared after the post about succulents. Thank you, whoever you are! I will definitely go to Succulents and Cacti on Delaware Street in Berkeley. In the meantime, it's sunning itself on my kitchen windowsill.

I was a year ahead of Madeline and two years behind you at Del Mar. I remember visiting with you on the train (or bus?) once on my way back to Davis. I guess you were on your way back to Berkeley. Madeline lived with my sister Marg all four years when they were at Davis. Looking forward to your thoughtful and entertaining entries.
I don't remember the Davis bus connection but do remember you-plus John,who was my year, and Tim who I think was a year older. And Kathy.
